PROBLEM and RECTIFY
Flapgate not working -:
RECTIFY : 1st check the following roots
- The panel side of the 3-phase power supply has a fuse.
- Is the Emergency Stop switch operational or not?
- Did the overload protection relay trip or not, and also check the voltage at points 95 and 96 on the normally closed (NC) circuit. There are two overloads present.
- Check if the auxiliary contactor of flap gate D1 is operating before pressing the open push button.
- Again, the D8 auxiliary contactor is used to open the gate.
- Please check the torque limit switch point of the flap gate. It should be set to NC or not 9, 10, or 11.
- Please close the side gate. The torque limit switch point of the flap gate should be set to NC or not between 14, 15, or 16
Open indication -:
When the flapgate is in the open position, it is necessary to check for the pickup of the D8 auxiliary contactor. If the contactor does not pick up, the indication lamp will not glow.
Close indication -:
When the flapgate is in the closed position, it is primarily looking for the D9 auxiliary contactor to pick up. If the contactor does not pick up, the indicating lamp will not glow.
Overload indicator -:
The D10 auxiliary contactor is used for relay overload protection. If high current occurs at the motor side, it could be due to motor jamming or single phasing at the motor terminal side.
Hold on cercuit not working -:
First, check the open condition of the flapgate OP1 contactor's NO point 52 terminal core fixed at the top side of the OP1 contactor's NO point. Connect terminal 53 core's NO point at the opposite side. Then, to confirm if the OP1 contactor's NO point is working properly, turn off the control supply for the flapgate module side and check if the NO point is working properly or not.
